Ballots for the primary dropped today. The following is an easy way to find all of the offices and candidates who will be listed on your primary ballot if you don't have it yet. (See the end of this article for a way to get the information for the general election.)

Notes: Some county judicial races listed above will not be on the primary ballot and therefore don’t show in the list generated using the procedure below.  Those races advanced directly to the General Election because they are nonpartisan and received less than three candidates; see RCW 29A.52.220.

1.    Use your web browser to go to: https://voter.votewa.gov.

2.    The page will look like the this.  Sign in using your first name, last name, and date of birth:

3.    Once signed in, click on “Your Ballot & Voting Materials” at the top:

4.    Next, click on Voter Guide: What’s on Your Ballot?” on the right side of the screen.

5.    Finally, select any category to see the candidates who will appear on your ballot:

Fun factIf there is only a single superior court judicial candidate in a district over 100,000 people, they are deemed elected (WA Constitution Art. IV Section 29).  For example, this is the case this election with Pierce Superior Court Position # 2.

To find all candidates and races which will appear in the General Election, please see the Candidate List, https://voter.votewa.gov/CandidateList.aspx?e=888.  For example, type “Pierce Superior Court” in the district field and see the Election Status for each candidate, or type “27-” in the district field to see all races in the 27th district:
